I'll probably take mine down at the end of the week. I was traveling until around the 10th of December, so it didn't go up until I got home. It has tiny little colored lights that give my living room a soft, rosy glow. I hate to see that go. And, I'm lazy. It's going to take at least a couple of hours to get it all put away.

I normally wait until the weekend following New Years Day, for some reason this year I was tired of looking at it, and I wanted my house returned to normal, so I took down the tree and decorations the day after Christmas.

My tree and decor will stay up at least another week....maybe longer. I'm not tired of it yet, We finally got a couple inches of snow las night, and I still feel 'Christmasy"!

I keep my Victorian tree up until at least Feb to enjoy after the hecticness of Christmas is over. It gets me through the winter. I don't put it up until a few days before Christmas - doesn't make sense to have to waste time cleaning around decorations and have them be less special way before Christmas like so many say they do. My outdoor lights stay up until after Russian Epiphany. My mother's best friend was Russian Orthodox and we always celebrated with her.

Tree was down a couple days ago as it was dropping needles so I didn’t want to light it up any longer. Everything else including outdoor decorations stay up intil Jan. 6.

Normally til the 1/6 after the Ephiphany. But I'm soooo ready to take it down but I have a open house on Thursday -- so I know for sure I'll be taking things down on Friday.
I'm looking forward to a neat clean house (uncluttered) again!
Happy New Years to everyone!

I leave it up at least until the end of the Christmas season, which is Epiphany on January 6th. I'm in no hurry to undo what it took me a while to get done. Besides, I enjoy looking at the pretty tree and decorations. I see trees laying curbside on 12/26 and while it's an individual choice, I wonder why some people bothered.

I'll take the Santa-oriented decorations down after the Epiphany, but leave all the snow-related items up till spring.

Decorations are kept up through the Epiphany.

Mine went up the weekend before Thanksgiving, to have it in place for that holiday.
But it came down on the 26th. After Christmas, I had no other events planned here at my house, no need to keep it up just for me.
