I was watching the earlier presentation of the TSV and didn't understand the vendor and host's explanation of GIA's involvement with the Affinity line. A diamond grading isn't stated for diamonds in the ring. What does the Q mean when they say they have "partnered" with the GIA? TIA.

"You can purchase our gemstone jewelry with added confidence knowing that QVC incorporates the GIA's expertise into the QVC gemstone identification quality assurance process."
a bit misleading, huh.

It's pretty, but not for 1,000.

Incorporate GIA's expertise? So the GIA isn't evaluating or examining their diamonds. No wonder there's no grade. Well that is misleading and not at all what I understood from the live presentation. :/

They (the host and vendor) said the diamonds in the 18K tennis bracelet are graded. Those look pretty tiny so Im guessing yes.

Can a diamond that small even be graded?Yes, diamonds come in parcels in a particular grade, so that they are matched in color, clarity and cut...even very small diamonds. The question is why haven't they been graded? Are they single cut diamonds or fully faceted? Are they I1 or SI graded? An eye clean diamond could me I1 which is flawed not always necessarily visible to the naked eye. If they are grading the tennis bracelet as VS H color than why the secrecy on the TSV?

I understand less and less about the Q's product descriptions and their pricing. Today's clearance price on the 6 3/4" tennis bracelet is $50 more than last month's featured price. That makes no sense at all.

Of course the setting can reflect color into the diamonds such as 14k yellow gold, so accuracy is off sometimes. I suspect QVC's TSV are I1 and the color is I or J , otherwise they would have said SI1 or SI2, G or H color.Incorporate GIA's expertise? So the GIA isn't evaluating or examining their diamonds.
