We're on Medicare praise God !

Just hope they don't fiddle with that next. I just got off of private pay policy and it had went up to 650 a month. Just beginning to enjoy it please Lord don't let him fiddle with Medicare for those of us 65 & over. Nobody will insure us without going back up to 650 and more a month.

Don't be scared - resist!

I was at the January Women's March. In my city, a high percentage who attended were middle-upper class grandmothers, their daughters and their grandchildren.

It's a fact that women are the family members who have the most input on health decisions.

We need to make our opinions known.

Call, write, march, visit - do whatever you can to let the powers that be know that we want security...no one in this great, wealthy nation should go bankrupt over an illness or live in fear of an uninsured emergency!

I don't think they're stupid enough to mess with Medicare. Medicaid, needed some paring down.

They try messing with SS and Medicare.............

FYI - The vast majority of people on Medicaid are seniors in nursing homes, the disabled of all ages, and children.

Cutting Medicaid will cause great harm to our most vulnerable seniors - people who have gone through all their money and resources and need skilled care to survive.

I knew this would be coming.

Lots of abuse rampant , also, too.

Let's not get into it or this whole thread will be poofed.

I think it is very naive to believe these people won't try to change Medicare.

How many times have you heard them talk about how entitlements are what need to be cut?  They then go on to say that Medicare is an entitlement.

I was not allowed to Cobra by my employer-legal tactic they had in place and cant be challenged.

I'm scared since I cant go on Medicare until next year. I'm on Obamacare, have a 10K deductable and pre-existing conditions. So does DH.

Whoa, Nellie!

There is no way this bill is going to fly through the Senate.  It's going to take a long time for them to fiddle with it.  The ACA will be in effect for awhile.  Months probably.

The House dumped it on the Senate, basically saying, "here, you fix it".
