Advice on Wedding gift please!

My cousin's daughter is getting married in May. We are not going, (it is our 45th anniversary, we have other plans) They live 4 states away. We don't see them too often. We are retired, and living on Social Security.

Question: how much money should we spend on a Wedding Gift? Should we send money or a gift?

They did not come to my son's wedding, it was small and they were not invited.

Need suggestions please.
