I have an inside cat that I have loved for 12 years. He has started leaving me little surprises more often now in 1 of 3 places. He has slowed down a lot and the vet says he is geriatric now and possibly unable to make it to his usual place. My question is, why always the same 3 places. Not all the time just here and there. Does that sound like he is acting out or unable to make it to his place that he has had for 12 years and picking places closer. I have wondered if it is time to have him put to sleep. He is quite and stays to himself alot unless he comes to be for his usual petting, but that is not as much as it use to be. I have never had a cat to be inside and with me this long. Any advice? Please help.
