My French Mastiff has torn ACLs in both back legs. Specialist wants $9K-$10K for TPLO surgery on both legs. She's already got arthritis in both legs and some other health issues ... so I decided to try non-surgical options first.

She's been getting acupuncture treatments every 2-3 weeks since August. This vet also does Chinese medicine and has her on herbs for tendons/ligaments and hips/joints. She's gone from not putting any weight on one of the legs to barely having a limp at all and she's doing all of her normal activities. Her regular vet also has her on Metacam for pain/inflammation reduction. Everyone's been happy with how well she's done on the treatments so far.
