Re: Adorable mouse with dandelion

Thanks for being so nice, @GingerPeach . I truly wasn't meaning to be snarky. I just couldn't imagine a dandelion stem supporting a mouse! (And these days so much is photoshopped.)

I had NO idea that a harvest mouse was so itsy-bitsy-teeny-tiny!

@sgraham30 , thanks for your explanation.

@sgraham30

I am going to imagine those poor dead mice now being in mouse heaven cavorting with dandelions!  I guess I have no other choice.  Cats will be cats.

The photographer is Matt Binstead, the head keeper of the Center for British Wildlife.

It is, indeed, a harvest mouse.

While Mr. Binstead has taken plenty of photos of harvest mice, he may have taken them at the Windows on Wildlife workshops hosted by Dean Mason.  These photos are credited to Dean Mason, @Cakers3

Binstead's harvest mice photos aren't quite the same, as far as I can tell.  Do you have more info about them?

The pictures are adorable, I love them.  I am not especially fond of mice, but this little one is so cute.

@GingerPeach   I found Matt on Flickr and on the Daily Mail.  I just searched "mouse on dandelion" to see who the photographer was and he came up first.

Perhaps we are looking at different sets of pictures by two different photographers.

Either way, both men did an incredible job.

Thanks for posting these!
