Yep, T.H.E. Cat. He was a looker in those days.

I'm surprised that T.H.E. Cat was only on for one season! So it's doubly surprising that so many of us remember that. I didn't know it was only on for one season until I looked it up online last night after Loggia's death.
IMO as he aged he started looking more and more like Gene Hackman! The Jagged Edge is one of my favorite films. I remember seeing it at the movie theater when it first came out and I was riveted to my seat with the suspense. I always watch it again if I see it's on TV, even though I know the ending. Perfect casting in that film.

Remember him as Gere's father in Officer and Gentleman.

This link contains a more detailed article about his death, and a link to the famous piano scene with Hanks, which is very fun to watch. RIP Robert Loggia:

Sorry to hear. That is a dreadful disease.

I too loved him in Big and Jagged Edge, and I believe he was in Scarface as well. He was a very versatile actor!

Loved Loggia. Does anyone have information about GENE HACKMAN? He has vanished. Hope he is ok wherever he is.

At 85, Gene Hackman is retired. If I'm not mistaken he had opened a restaurant here in New Mexico with partners, and is writing and doing some commercial work. I found a good article and have provided a link.
Great actor. The Conversation remains one of my favorite Hackman films.

Loved him in ScarFace, his scene where he's pleading for his life with Al Pacino is the highlight of the flick.

I just added The Jagged Edge to my Netflix list and brought it to the top of the list. This was a great movie with Glenn Close and Robert Loggia.
