Oh my goodness I am so sorry to hear this but I did so enjoy him on the Bob Newhart Show . . . RIP my friend, you gave me more laughs than I can say.

Time goes by so fast!  Can't believe he was 80!  He was always terrific.  Just saw Tony Bennett, Nancy Pelosi, and a few other famous folk here in my hometown today and they are getting up there too.  Aging is not for sissies.  Oh dear.

I saw Bob Newhart recently at the American Music Theater in Lancaster PA.

It was really sad.  One hour of old old old jokes.....I just flew in from LA, my arms are tired......

showed old clips and footage that we've all seen. 

Totally wasn't worth $90.

It made me (and a lot of the audience) sad, but I still love him!!  All good things must come to an end.

I was a fan of the show, back in 1972!  His character had a dry and rye sense of humor, which he played very well.  May he be at peace.

So sad to hear this.  Mr. Carlin was a great character.  Mr. Riley played that part amazingly well.  RIP.  You made us all laugh.

I never knew his name but when I saw his face I instantly knew who he was!

He was so talented!
