Re: Accumulating greeting cards

Answering O/P: Maybe ask your family and/or friends whether they would like the cards you have saved. You'll be surprised how many people love to recycle cards. Using them as post cards, using them for scrap booking, crafts, just collecting and/or framing them. Also, if you don't mind your neighbors having them, just set them out on your lawn one weekend on a nice day, with a sign marked 'Free Cards'. .... If I were walking along my block or around my neighborhood, I'd love to see a box of 'free cards'.........would 'make my day.........Smile

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Re: Accumulating greeting cards

I do collect greeting cards I've received and file them away in a big, plastic container with a lid. I look at cards every 3 years or so, mainly in winter months. Brings me joy. Many people who gave me cards have passed. Love reading messages. Fun to read scribbles from my little kids who are now adults.

Re: Accumulating greeting cards

I save them for a few months or so, then they get tossed. However, my grown children have cards their grandparents sent to them when they were little.
