I was feeling like a couple of different things so my husband just ran up to pick up sashimi and Thai from our favorite places. 

Eating out here on the weekends has gotten to be not so easy as the waits are usually an hour or more at almost all decent restaurants, usually an hour or more. Sometimes I don't mind and sometimes I don't feel like waiting. More and more restaurants refuse reservations especially on weekends because of the huge amount of cancellations. Just a couple of the places we like to eat at still take them. Some people have to ruin it for everyone.

Do you use the app Open Table? @Irshgrl31201 That helps us a lot in finding a restaurant at the last minute.

Not creative, but we just ordered pizza....having ice cream cones for dessert, in honor of National Ice Cream Day!

Japanese Sweet Potatoes slowed baked...sweet, gooey

then wrapped in lettuce leaves.  Super simple.  Smells great!

We're having BLT's using delicious tomatoes from my neighbor's garden that she so kindly shared with us. Bacon is cooking in the oven as I type...smells so good!

But really, I think I'd rather be with Zhills having butter poached lobster, risotto, and asparagus. I, of course, would graciously bring the wine. Ha!
