@shell garden, I have had the recipe for some time and made it for my kids.  Grandson loves it as well and that is what matters.  It is a take on those old Impossible Bisquick Pies that were so common back in the day.  LOL!

@pitdakotaThose never did "take on" here.  What were they like?

@ECBG, Impossible pies are recipes that use Bisquick that have little assembly.  Very quick to put the ingredients in the pan  and through it in the oven.  Here is a link to another recipe I have made that also has more recipes at the bottom of the page.

I don't make things like this very often, but they are quick and easy. I made the quick pizza casserole for my kids and now my grandson loves it just as much.  LOL!

Hope that helps!

Not sure if this is pitdakota's recipe but I did find this on a Google search and for me it looks beyond delicious:

Pizza Casserole

Author: Stephanie from PlainChicken.com

Serves: Serves 6-8

Ingredients
  • 3⅓ cups Bisquick
  • ⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • 1¼ cups milk
  • 1 (14-16oz) jar pizza sauce
  • ½ (7oz) package pepperoni
  • ½ lb sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ tsp oregano

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly spray a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray.
  2. Mix together Bisquick, parmesan cheese, garlic powder and milk. Drop  half of dough by heaping tablespoons in bottom of prepared pan. It will not cover entire pan. Spread half of sauce over dumplings. Top with half of sausage, pepperoni and cheese.
  3. Drop remaining dough in pan and top with remaining sauce, sausage, pepperoni. Top with remaining cheese. Sprinkle oregano over casserole.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes, until dumplings are done and cheese is bubbly.
