Yes.  I'm a diehard Cubs fan and I haven't watched a single game this season because I don't want to jinx them.  Best record in baseball this year.

I always thought gargoyles were good luck.

I know a lot of old timey buildings have gargoyles on the top built in just for that reason.  Except for the gargoyles in Ghostbusters. Ha.
