Re: AOL Most Violent Cities In Each State Per 10,000- What Is Yours?

Des Moines is the capital city, and the largest, so it's not surprising it is the most "violent" city in Iowa.

It has the intersection of major cross-country highways for transportation of drugs and other illegal merchandise, and this attracts the distributors/traffickers with connections.

They each had a common thread....human encroachment and mass amounts of humans living in close quarters. Less nature replaced by concrete jungles, high decibal noise and all that is induced by mankind and against the natural order of nature. I am doing some research calling this "rats in a cage" syndrome. Similar events happen when any species over populates and fights break out over less avaiable resources. (Be it jobs, food, water, etc) Will let ya'll know of my results although I am sure some of it will not be well received. Is a fact humans are over-populating and over time less resources will result in increased violence.

I think the results of your research will be interesting to read @Stormygirl.
