I am a papercrafter and many companies in that industry are having their designs pirated by TEMU and sold very cheaply. The companies that make rubber and photopolymer stamps invest a lot of money in the design and producton of their products. TEMU steals the designs and slightly alters the size of them and makes them of  much cheaper materials and sells them very cheaply. TEMU is doing this to other industries as well - fashion, kitchen products, etc. I will not buy anything from TEMU for this reason and because I do not want to give my personal and credit card info to the Chinese government. I wish I could stop all the TEMU ads I am receiving!

I've shopped from Temu twice.   I will not download their app though (spyware) so I ordered from their regular website.

I've been pleasantly surprised with most of their things.  My daughter needed some pants for a costume and for $13 they turned out to be decent quality.  Same with footcare items (bunion toe wedges). The prices are cheap so I just count on not ordering anything I'd insist on returning if needed. A stainless steel ladle turned out to be poor quality so I gave it away.

Shipping does take awhile so that's something to consider. Otherwise they have great deals and an incredible selection.

Re: ANYONE SHOP AT TEMU?

Under Chinese law the Chinese government can have immediate access to the records of all Chinese companies. This includes their records of your records. Your name, address, credit card information and anything else you give them. This is the reason why Tic Toc is currently banned on U.S. military sites and on devices provided by the government.

The Temu app can get around some of the security on your phone.

Pinduoduo, which has the same parent company as Temu, PDD Holdings, goes even further and gains full access to your contacts, photo albums, texts, social media accounts and chats on your phone. Its app was suspended from the Google Playstore in 2023. In 2022 i

I would never shop at Temu. Giving the Chinese government access to your personal information and credit cards is foolhardy. We have enough issues in this country dealing with hacking by the Chinese without making it easier for them. Sure it is cheaper. But I would rather go without. Also, the notion that if you don't buy that those workers will just have no work at all so it it is better to give them a job with the poorest of working conditions is beyond appalling. Only a spoiled American with the excess of abundances would ever say such a thing. China uses children and will force them to work for 14 or more hours a day with barely a bathroom or food break. We treat prisoners better here.

Same things happen with Hobby Lobby having everything manufactured in China by people working in substandard conditions.  Yet, people don't realize it, I guess.  Hobby Lobby has the whole family values crowd completely bamboozled.

While a lot of their stuff looks interesting, I would never knowingly buy from this or any Chinese company directly.  It's one thing to buy from a business who has their stuff made in China and another thing to buy directly from a company that is tied to the Chinese governmnent, as all companies there have to be.  Not for me thanks.
