Thank the powers-that-be that the liftoff was successful.

I am so happy that we are back in the business of launching our own astronauts for our new missions.

It is fascinating and fun to watch.

I totally forgot about it. Started attacking the hollies this morning since temps are down a bit.  Got 2 done and I was done.  Cleaned up and we went to pick up a coupld of pork stuffed potatoes for a late lunch.  Sat down to eat, turned on the TV, and it was 5:00 until launch, so we timed it perfectly.  Made hubby change the channel though.  I wanted to hear the launch babble in the background I'm so accustomed to hearing and the channel he had it on didn't have it. It was a beautiful thing.

That was so awesome!  Finally, something to cheer about!  I was moved to tears.

Time is just a drop in the bucket compared to eternity. It isn’t how long you live that matters; it is how well you are prepared to die. ~~Colonel Robert B. Thieme, Jr.
