image
45 year old, Debbie Parkhust was home alone when she choked on an apple. Debbie had tried using the Heimlich maneuver on herself only to fail in her attempts to save herself. At which point she was beating on her chest which had attracted the attention of her dog, Toby. Toby got up on his hind feet and pushed her to the ground. Once she was on her back, he started jumping up and down her chest. He managed to dislodge the apple from her windpipe. “As soon as I started breathing, he stopped and began licking my face, as if to keep me from passing out,” she said.(source)

A 12 year old girl on her way home from school in South West Ethiopia was taken away unexpectedly by kidnappers. About a week later, the kidnappers tried to relocate the girl for fear of the police being hot on their trail. They then encountered a pride of 3 lions who chased them away. The lions then stayed with the girl until the police arrived. Then they left without harming her. “They stood guard until we found her and then they just left her like a gift and went back into the forest,” one of the policemen said. (source)

This isn't a rescue, but pretty amazing, IMO
When our cats need something, they just go “Meow” to get our attention right away! Amazingly, this cat has learned A unique talent since his owner is deaf and it would be impossible for his owner to hear him. Watch as this cat does sign language in order for his owner to know what he is asking. He even mimics the movement by tapping his paw to his mouth when he wants to get more food! This cat is just incredible!

Amazing is right bette! i love her!! Our animals are smarter than we realize and what a sad world it would be without them!.
We had a feral cat that was very loving and he found a sick kitten and brought her home to lay on our patio..Goldie nursed this cat 24 7 and finally we had to take the kitten to the vet...They gave her antibiotics so we kept her in the spare bedroom for about 1 week...My outdoor cat would lay under the window on the other side of the apt complex i lived in i guess thinking he was protecting her...Lol cracked us up and also touched our hearts. He had alot of love in him..His sister to this day does not like to be touched but oh how Goldie loved to be petted!Miss him.

Cats are all the rage on the internet these days, mostly because of their funny personalities, but this cat deserves praise for a different reason.
Radamenes, the black cat who resides in Poland, acts like a nurse to injured animals recovering from trauma. The phrase ‘paying it forward’ has never applied more than in this situation.
Rademenes was once a patient at this animal shelter, where he suffered from a respiratory infection that almost cost him his life.
He now spends his days cuddling with, and cleaning, animals in need.
Please share this wonderful story with your friends and family, it will surely warm their hearts.

Cats a very empathetic. My cat is playing nurse to me right now. I was in the hospital last Thursday and Friday. She has not left my side. If she's not eating or using the box, she is either on me or within 2 feet of me. If I move, she knows it.![]()

This kitty reminds me of Simon's Cat on YouTube, the way he points to his mouth, LOL! Very smart!
