I worked for many years with a few of the biggest hypocrites I have met in my long life. I won't go into the boring stories, but suffice it to say? Holier than thou does not even scratch their surface.

Just a guess, but I'd be surprised if anything will happen to Josh. He's in a secure area, lots of powerful friends, a lot of others that think like his family, and seemingly a disproportionate number of child molesters in the area.

Most importantly, he is also surrounded by people who don't get it... that he committed a crime, that he is dangerous to children.

He is surrounded by people who believe all you have to do is ask for forgiveness, go to rehab maybe, and everything will be OK.

I know you had high hopes for Anna last night, but that family & friends are of a different mindset. It's subcultural, Anna has been taught all her life to be subservient. I don't think she will change at this point in time, if ever.

I remember years ago when the show was in it's infancy how many Viewpoint posters held them up as models of virtue and perfection. There were hints of wrong doing by the elder son but nothing proven. Still, they were held up as the moral majority.

Years later, it's been shown that the parents were very much aware of the wrong doings all the while they were in negotiations with TLC for a tv series.

We also have been shown older videos of the Duggers living in cramped quarters, 14 children and parents sharing 2 bathrooms and the father bragging about buying used clothing for his children.

So, here we are today, years past the statute of limitations for molestation charges , admissions of cheating and porn viewing by the older son.. what else will come to light?

I know, I was hoping....especially thought she would see the light when his profile revealed he was looking for "a professional business woman" I was hoping it would click that he picked her (Anna) Just to keep her in her "good little wifey, stay out of my business mod" And to think another generation of kids will grow up thinking this abuse is acceptable is scary to me.

The females are brought up without education or any skills, aside from being mothers. She would not be able to support herself and would probably have a hard time feeling ok with herself (as awful as that sounds), alone. A man is just part of their equation and that is ALL that gives them value.

It's awful, but the truth. For these reasons I sincerely doubt she would ever leave him, almost no matter what his indiscretions are.

You have been a very strong woman in your own life and have a lot to be proud of. Unfortunately, not everyone see their paths that way, and that's just sad.

That's taking the Biblical quote too far. If we were never to "judge", there would be no laws, no courts, no prisons. Anyone could do whatever he wanted to with no repercussions. We'd live in a totally lawless society.

I've never watched "The Duggars" but I've certainly heard about them. I can't say I'm impressed by their actions.
