I only saw part of her performance but it seemed the acoustics were off. And I'm not familiar with the song she sang.

I also thought she sounded un-Adele-like form the start. Not sure what happened with her. I told my DH that maybe it was a poor choice of a song tonight to do live...?

I thought the accompaniment was off. She was good but it wasn't her best.

It's no secret I think Adele rules, BUT, unlike last night's show on BBC channel something went wrong. The dress was great! I hardly recognized her. Her hair was a mess. The lighting was horrible! Some big ol ball of yellow light that kept you from seeing her face. Her regular make up person must not had went with her. Her eyebrows were to dark she didn't have her signature eyeliner on and the eyelashes were gone. Course with that light like a sun in the background it was hard to see her face.
Sound kept dropping out too. It was like somebody was trying to sabotage her.

I thought it was like somebody was trying to imitate her, and doing a poor job of it.

I think you all missed the fact that BRUNO MARS wrote that song. Maybe HE should have sung the song. I like him, he is fun to watch, but, I don't think he should write anymore songs for ADELE. She is terrific!!!!!!!!!!!!----------tedEbear

Just goes to show that anyone can have a bad night and one performance is not what makes an artist. I remember a few years back when a Grammy performance went wrong and all I heard was "she can't sing, she has no talent, she's going nowhere" but she proved them wrong. And tonight she became the first woman to twice win the Grammy for Album of the Year. Anybody can have an off night. It's just a shame it happened at the Grammys.

I don't know that song, but I could hear at least 4 times she really went off key. The high notes were a little bit much for her.
Granted she has a beautiful voice and she sings so effortlessly most of the time.
I'm surprised she didn't admit at the end of the song that she &$%#@'d up.

I didn't see her performance. Must say that I loved her first album. Not so much the second. My niece bought it and we listened to it together on Thanksgiving. The music is very repetitive. Every song sounds the same. If she sang something from the second album, I would not be surprised that her performance was disappointing. I think she is a huge talent and hope that she will find her original voice again in her next album.

I agree-she seemed so disheveled......
