my mom gives us all the gift of AAA plus membership every year.......and we are very thankful for it. she has an automatic renewal that gets paid by the credit card she has on file online with AAA.

I was thinking of getting my son a AAA policy for Christmas, but I would like to know if anyone who uses AAA have they bought a policy online? I am always skeptical of purchasing on line from a company I haven't dealt with before. I know there is a AAA store not to far from me but it is always so full of people and during these times I would rather not go into the store if I don't have to.

Thanks

@cuddlesmama   Try calling them at 1-800-866-568-4222.  This will be the number for insurrance quotes and information.

@cuddlesmama ---yes I have done AAA online for my son as well as talk to a real person about it. His car broke down so I got him AAA as he could use it right away after I submitted all info and paid for it---he had them tow the car to the shop all within the hour of me calling. Was about $100 for the year. the best $$ we spend on a service ever!!!!

Re: AAA Question

@cuddlesmama

I would not go into a store during this time.

You will be able to find information on the website or a phone call.

I have been a customer for 30 years.

I had a car engine smoke and burn after being parked in 2016.

After the fire and police left the scene.

I called AAA and had the car towed to my local car dealer.

I have always had good service over the years.

I pay with auto renewal, and get the new documents in the mail.

I get an email about a month in advance telling me it's time to renew.

This is my story, exactly.  I didn't even know there was such a thing as a AAA store.  Never have come across one.  Our AAA membership has come in handy more time than I can count.

What "policy" are you referring to?  We have AAA road coverage.  We've used it several times and it has been wonderful.  We're seniors.  We wouldn't drive without it.

I've been a member most of my adult life. I never even heard of stores. I've only ever called them. For me, that's the fastest and easiest. I no longer have a car, so no more AAA.

I have extremely fast and efficient roadside service as part of my auto insurance.  Before buying AAA, be sure your son doesn't also have this arrangement.
