I was thinking of getting my son a AAA policy for Christmas, but I would like to know if anyone who uses AAA have they bought a policy online? I am always skeptical of purchasing on line from a company I haven't dealt with before. I know there is a AAA store not to far from me but it is always so full of people and during these times I would rather not go into the store if I don't have to.

Thanks

@cuddlesmama

Why not call them to find out if going in first thing in AM would be safest and the least crowded ?

Take your own pen, wipes for their desk top or counter, and hand sanitizer for your self.

This should be the safest for you.

I don't see any reason that buying a AAA policy online would be any different than puchasing it 'in store'.

AAA's policy is the same either way you purchase it and I always extend it online, as well.

I've been a member for decades...well worth it.

I always renew online no problem. I feel very confident in applying online being secure.

As another suggested, if it makes you feel better, call and talk to someone about your options now, and ask about their online registration to put you at ease.

Good luck~I think it'll be fine!

I've had AAA for about a decade now, and I've never been in one of their stores. It's always been either through the mail or online. I've had to use them for a tow once, no brakes on the car, and to jumpstart the car a couple of times. The policy I have now covers being towed up to a hundred miles which could be handy should the car have an issue far from home.

We've been AAA members for over 40 years. We usually renew our memberships by mail (they send renewal notices about a month before the expiration date), but I've renewed online a couple of times and it was easy. I've never gone into a AAA store.

We have always been members of AAA and I renew my membership online.  There are no worries in dealing with AAA.

I think my husband just renewed ours online instead of mail. Wouldn't be without them. They've served us well for years.

You call, get the details and then ask to have whatever mailed.  That way you would not have to go in.
