Police in Texas are asking people to help them track down a young woman who claims to have COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, and is “willingly spreading” it. Police will charge her with “terroristic threat.”
On Sunday, Carrollton Police Department identified Lorraine Maradiaga, 18, as the person who posted a series of worrisome and bizarre videos on Snapchat over the weekend.
In one of these videos, Maradiaga is seen filming herself at what she says is a Walmart and issues a strange threat to the camera, KXAS, a local news station in Dallas-Fort Worth, reported.
“I’m here at Walmart about to infest every (expletive), because if I’m going down, all you (expletive) are going down,” she said, per the station.
In another video seen by KXAS, the woman appears to be sitting in a car at a coronavirus drive-through testing site. A nurse can be heard telling the person driving the car to go home and wait for the test results.
Maradiaga also filmed herself later that day repeatedly coughing into the camera and saying, per KXAS: “If you want to get the coronavirus and (expletive) die, call me.”
The Carrollton Texas Police Department noted on Twitter that they are unsure if Maradiaga has COVID-19, and “have no confirmation Maradiaga is actually a threat to public health.” But they are taking the teen’s actions on social media “very seriously.”

Sounds like she is psychologically ill.
But for the safety of everyone, she does need to be put in jail or a mental hospital.

@suzyQ3 They arrested a man at a Stop & Shop closeby for intentionally sneezing, spitting, and coughing all over food in the store. They don't know if he's infected but threw everything away and called in a cleaning crew. Another woman sprayed a WalMart clerk in the face for not allowing her to purchase over the limit on sometihing (wipes?) - She jumped in an uber and took off. They're out looking for her.
For the most part I've seen only good in people, there are always a few.

The lunatics are coming out of the woodwork. On the one hand it's sad that such sick people are not receiving proper care. On the other hand, for the safety of the public, these nuts have to be found and taken away from the rest of us.

She sounds like she has a mental illness. Hope they find her soon and she gets some help.

I have a few suggestions on what I'd do with these people but due to Forum Guidelines I'll keep those thoughts to myself .....

I hope she doesn't have it!
There will be more people like this. All the pressure and sudden changes in circumstances are going to be too much for some, particularly some of those with mental illness, and some will have meltdowns. The most spectacular explosions, we will hear about.

I posted last week on another thread about a video I saw posted on FB from YouTube with almost this exact scenario but it was a young guy. He was in Walmart, walking around filming, claiming he had just been diagnosed and he was going to infect people because if he was going down, so was everyone else. He claimed once he left Walmart, he was going to several other stores to try and spread the virus.
I never heard another thing about that video and I was hoping he did it to get his 5 minutes of fame. This girl sounds like she copied that guy.
ETA: I looked this up on YouTube to find the video. I ended up finding a news story. The guy was from North Carolina and was arrested. It was a hoax and he was charged with a felony.

Some will do anything for attention while others are just evil. Instead of this situation bringing the good in people out, many are just absolutely hateful.
IMO, anyone deliberately trying to infect or harm another individual should be put behind bars.

We had sociopaths before COVID-19 and we'll have sociopaths after COVID-19.
Like death, taxes and acne, they never go away.
