Aw, I feel so sorry for him. How do they know that's what happened to him? I feel in that condition, he's vulnerable to all kinds of dangers. Poor little guy....or girl.

Funny? Not in my book! We have squirrels in our backyard and have never seen this behavior. It appears to be animal abuse to me.

We have squirrels, too, and ours have never acted like that. My first thought was that someone did something to the little guy. Not funny at all.

I agree with you both. Watching that made me sad. The poor thing was completely disoriented. Those people that filmed it while laughing the whole time are just cruel. If they know their pumpkins are fermented, why leave them out where squirrels or other animals could eat them, get sick or even die. I don't have patience for those type of people that take amusement in the suffering of animals. Just mean-spirited.

That was nothing but animal abuse! What an awful thing to do, and to film it and laugh at that poor little animal's condition--- that is so NOT COOL.
