Yesterday was one of my worst days yet,I cried all day long and asked everyone I saw to please pray for me as I felt I could hardly go on without my Barkley and only God could help me out of it.

Last night around 11pm I was in bed watching tv.At the foot of my bed,I heard the sound a dog's ears make when they "shake it out" You all know that "flapping " sound. well I thought to myself,that sounds just like Barkley but I said to myself it must be just a noise from outside,the window was open in that area.

I got up this morning and on my way to the br I noticed something on the floor at the foot of my bed.At first I thought it was a huge bug.My eyes were not fully focused yet.But I reached down and touched it it was metal,so I picked it up and laid it on my dresser to look at it after I washed my face to wake up.

When I got back to it ,I saw it was Barkley's license from 1998.(he would have been 2 yrs old) Now how did that get there? I had vacumed there yesterday,very well especially to get under the bed,so it was not there yesterday.I vacume everyday and never saw it there.In fact I have not seen it since 1999 when he got the next yr license.Barkley never wore his licence He had a beautiful thick furry white neck so he only wore a harness when we went for walks on which I would put each new yr license every yr. and disposed of the old one.

I received a wonderful gift last night.Barkley visited me,he left his 98 license to tell me he feels like a 2 yr old again now that he has crossed the Bridge and he is still near me and watching over me just like he always was.....

A little extra coincidence to this story,I think I posted about my extreamly upseting experience with the board of health over his licence 4 days after his death....and he always woke up about 10/11 pm when I had just gone to bed after sleeping the whole day away.

It has a small hole in it where you hook it on the collar so I put it on the chain I wear along with my DH cross.I never take it off ,ever, It fals behind the cross ,its brass and is smaller than the cross, so it really looks nice,feels good and doesn't attract attention of some that might think I am crazy to wear my dogs license.
