A silly thing that scares my cat

Whenever I spritz the waffle maker with cooking spray, my cat bolts from the room. This morning, I tried my best to warn him. He saw me take out the waffle maker. I showed him the can of PAM. When I used the spray, he took off faster than the speed of sound.

What silly thing scares your pet?
