A "Breaking Amish" question

Where did the money for all this come from? Did TLC bankroll them to go to NYC and stay at the Hyatt? I don't see them thinking they need to find a job (except for the one who is interested in becoming a model) so I am assuming TLC is paying for all this - including Abe & Rebecca's wedding - she doesn't seem at all concerned about the cost of any of that. It certainly does not give them any idea of life in the real world does it? Wait til they have to start paying their own way - how will they like their new life then? And they are so niave about everything - I'm sure this would be very difficult - to suddenly have to live and make a living in a totally different culture.
