My DH and I are saving for a trip to Europe in a couple of years. I'm going to have a LOT of money saved by then and I'm wondering if I should tell an agent how much we have to spend or should we not? The reason I ask is that I'm concerned that if the agent knows that, s/he will make sure every cent of it gets spent, whether or not it needs to be.
On the other hand, it's not really fair to not give them a budget of some kind to work with?
Or, would it be a good idea to tell give them a figure lower than what we actually have budgeted?
TIA for your help.
