A pushy neighbor......

{#emotions_dlg.bored} Good morning ladies.. I am in a bit of a sticky situation. I have a neighbor who lives around the corner from me. I walk my dog and sometimes I pass her house. At first it was good morning or good afternoon and now that I don't have my car [its in the repair shop} I have been taking car service or the bus.. she walked over to me and said .. Rose, I am mad at you! I said why? You took car service and the bus.. When I could have drove you. I only know her for a few weeks. I said I cannot ask you to drive me anywhere I don't feel comfortable with that. But, I thank you very much. Oh , Rose, that is nonsense when I can drive you. I told her I enjoy that time to myself and I can afford the cab or the bus. She keeps insisting and insisting. And I just say no. Now, I walk my dog in the opposite direction so , I will not meet up with her. I want nothing more to do with her. And I thought I was being very polite to her ... she just does not get it.. any suggestions would be appreciated and thanks so much for your help.....{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}
