why would anybody think somebody else's mistake would be so funny to choke?

We are in a technology age and we rely on it..

GPS makes mistakes all the time...is it the driver's fault and it is funny when he ends up on the wrong street? I don't get laughing at somebody else's misfortune.

It doesn't mean people are stupid...it means they have moved in modern age and was relying on information that was provided to them..

I am glad the situation provided you with so much amusement you were choking with laughter.

You have always struck me as a very nice poster and I DO understand what you were trying to convey on this thread.
