A pregnant woman plans to give birth in the sea, with dolphins! This is part of a new BBC show called, 'Extraordinary Births'.

How unsanitary, among many other risks!

Your thoughts?

I remember years ago reading an article about women giving birth in the black sea. Later it was made into a documentary called Birth as We Know it.

Wonder how far 'in the sea' she will go.  Of course she will attract sharks and they are fast to move in and ............................  I wouldn't risk the life of a newborn.  Not just sharks, jellyfish, barracuda, and others.  If the baby needs immediate medical attention or procedures, what then?

LASTLY, many oceans today are polluted with sewage.  Just the thought of that makes the whole idea foolish.

Really?  If Child Protective Services isn't part of the film crew, they should be.  I want a shot of their faces as they watch a potential future client in action.

As soon as a baby is born it needs to take a breath so how can it do that  underwater?

I imagine they will bring the baby to the surface as soon as it's born to take the first breaths.

I wonder what kind of safety measures they have in place.
