Good for you. I can remember the stiff muscles when I started exercising after being a 'couch potato' for too long. The pain subsides, and leaves you with a sense of accomplishment and better health. Good luck!

My brag is that our Wisconsin Badgers are in the Final Four, even if they go no further.

You mean I only have to hear Frank Kaminsky, Frank Kaminsky, Frank Kaminsky for one more week lol. BTW I'm rooting for them. OK my brag is that after 3 shopping days in a row, I finally found a nice dress today. (Kinda hard to find an Easter dress when you don't do flowers or neon colors!)

Nice thread, with lots of positive replies. Thank you, Cody and financialgrl for posting about your LASIK experiences. I'm doing better than expected today! SuiGeneris...no problem about going O/T. It's not the iPad that's the problem. I can make paragraphs just fine on other boards and on Facebook. I'm reading through what you posted, though, and and don't know where there is a ruler?

I have to agree that the hype about "The Tank" is over the top this week. I find myself muting the coverage until they move on to other non-sports stories.

I think WI can beat Kentucky! Since they beat ND, I want KY destroyed! Ha! I want MSU to beat Duke and have a Big Ten throw down on Monday night! Funny how all of the "experts" said the Big 10 was weak in bball... Sparty on!

I was told today by a complete stranger that I look 45. Stated by a guy who overheard my actual age when I was speaking to someone else. Works for me! DH has also said that I look mid 40's but it was nice hearing it from someone I don't know.

So how old are you? 48?

Switching gyms after attending a college fitness center for decades. It's free for me as a retiree. The rap music started getting to me. A lot of young jocks standing around swearing wasn't cool either. It's a nice fitness center within a college environment but it was time for me to move on down the road. The new gym is a lovely community center.

I know how you feel, ury. I can't even stay in a store or restaurant for long, if the music bothers me. I think that's their way of keeping out some people, and it does work.
