Re: A bragging thread. Feel free to join in about ANY brag.

Had lasik surgery in northern VA in 1999; cost $5000 for both eyes. Best money I've ever spent. Went in with the ability to only read the big ""E"" and afterwards I could see without wearing glasses for the first time in decades. I had one eye fixed for distance the other left undercorrected slightly for closer up work. It works well together. It was fairly new back then and yet I had my eyes done in a place that had a room above overlooking the operating room with a huge picture window and I was asked if I wanted to watch the procedure before me (I did). My father had driven me and he was called back to watch them perform my surgery. Very interesting.

Our kitty is curled up next to me because out of all the places/people in the house she decided to sit next to me because she likes me best. Smiley Happy We frequently fight for her affection!

I spent hours yesterday and this morning preparing Pysanky. (Ukrainian Easter eggs)

I blew out then did wax designs on a dozen eggs. Tomorrow our 4 Grands will come and dye them. They will also dye and decorate a dozen hard boiled eggs.

Sorry for the O/T, but I've seen many posters [using iPads] apologize about the lack of paragraphs in their posts. I googled, "how to make paragraphs on an iPad," and got this as a result:

Set paragraph margins
  1. Tap in a paragraph, or select one or more paragraphs. If the ruler isn't showing tap Tools button , tap Settings, then turn on the Ruler.
  2. Drag the margin and paragraph indent markers to where you want them.

I don't have an iPad, so I don't know if this is useful information, or not. HTH

lulu2- your post brings back lovely memories of Easters when my Pennsylvania Grandma and Grandpa came to celebrate the holiday. Saturday evening was an elaborate contest between my grandpa and my dad figuring out how to dye eggs with the most different colors, using masking tape to make designs. Simple down home good times.
