Perhaps if you are so concerned about someone else wearing a mask, you should take that as a sign you should stay home.

But then who is going to stimulate the economy? A handful of sick people coughing on each other? Can't have it both ways during an epidemic.

But what about all the retailers and entertainment establishments you have been saying needed to re-open immediately and physically? You said they were all going under if they didn't.

So they need all the shoppers and diners they can get. It is in their best interest to convince everyone their establishments are safe from crazy people and virus contagion. That's hard to do if they let in beligerent yahoos who yell at others or bring guns and threaten people over not wanting to wear a mask. No one wants to deal with that.

Sounds like a quack. We wear masks to keep our cough droplets from landing on other people and objects. Was this AM radio?

Why is he a quack because he doesn't agree with your assessment? Sometimes we need to hear different points of view and then make our own judgements. What does AM Radio have to do with quality?

Simply stated....If you are concerned for your safety in any given environment stay home.  Take responsibility for youself.  Stop trying to change the world, you can only control your actions in it.

Businesses will open and set their best practice standards.  Customers will come or they won't, standards can be tightened or loosened.  Life and businesses will adjust to the publics comfort level.

Doesn't this work both ways?  If you are so concerned about following guidelines that recommend wearing a face mask, stay at home.

There is the nuance....recommend.  If a business such as Costco is requiring a mask, then you wear the mask or not go to Costco that is your choice.  If a business recommends you wear a mask, it is up to the individual.  If you are not comfortable being around people not wearing a mask, you need to take control of your life and choose only to shop stores that require a mask.  Businesses will adjust to what the majority of their shoppers want.

I wish they would stay home if they don't want to wear masks. If they did we could eliminate COVID-19 as a threat. Hong Kong and the Czech Republic have almost accomplished that. Because everyone there is wearing masks in public. Once the virus stops spreading it dies.
