A Sweet Little Video Send-Off to Dan

I have been maniacally window shopping (no buying yet, thank goodness) on the QVC site, and noticed that if you scroll down toward the bottom, there is a little video tribute to Dan Wheeler from Pat James Dementri, Mary Beth Rowe, Leah Williams, and David Venable. They each just say a few encouraging words, but it is very warm. Each of those hosts seems to have heart-felt wishes for their colleague-- I like the emotion in their faces and voices as they speak of him.

Glad you mentioned that. I didn't even notice the video was there. Looking forward to watching Dan's show tonight. It seems like a long standing family member is leaving.

@Big Sister, there's a good reason you can't find it-- it looks like it's been removed! It was on the main QVC site, you scrolled down toward the bottom and there it was, with Mary Beth starting off.

What a shame-- it was so sweet, and very short so easy to watch. But, at least, as @JeanLouiseFinch points out, you can watch Dan's retirement special on youtube.

In the meantime if I come across the short video, I'll try to link here.

I was surfing the channels last night when I came upon Dan's last few minutes on air. I always thought he was a lovely man, but I never watched him much because he usually sold things that weren't on my radar. Anyway, the closeness of Dan and Rick and Dan's final goodbye almost had me tearing up. So glad his family was there to walk off camera with him. I wish him the best and a chance to find happiness again after the loss of his wife.

I watched the show last night. Sorry to see Dan leave. I was surprised that there wasn't more recorded clips from other hosts. He always came across as a very nice man. No annoying habits and very pleasant to watch and listen to. Lol, and at times a bit corny! I wish him well.

I will miss Dan also, I remember when he was on CVN and first came to QVC. I loved watching him sell products (which he did very well) , seems like all the seasoned Host are retiring. His smile and fun personality has left a lasting impression on me. Good Luck Dan!!!

I watched part of the show on tv last night - and mostly Dan was with the vendor selling products. Why didn't the present and past hosts talk about him - and make this occasion more festive. A total blah!!!!
