I bought this place because I was convinced the construction and location would keep out secondhand smoke. I was right.
So my current situation is nothing when compared
with the joyful smokefree existence I have had for eight years.
You'll find a way too.
The cigar guy sold and another very wealry tribe moved in and they were cigarette smokers @PickyPicky3 . as well. two teenage sons and the mother.
I sold and have been out for almost 2 years. Thank God, A beautiful condo but was going on since 2012. First one was an older lady and she died from lung cancer. Then the cigar and lastly was some New York crew likr I said above.
It comes through vents, walls, elevators, electrical l outlets you name it. Terrible. Horrible. OMG. Well we are both out of it now.
Especially with our ocean winds in SoFlo every day high up at 35 to 45 facing east. He had the big unit with double doors. And they would shake smoke pouring through.
I was a 3 time loser can you beleive?

Am I correct? Best of luck if I'm wrong but I now see your an owner and you have to deal with HOA. If so you must talk to them first.
I know, it is a nightmare but the best plan is go to to the asssociian if you are indeed an owner. You have rights..
in our area, not all townhouse communities have personal garages for each townhome. some have outside parking areas which could have assigned numbers or just be open parking.
some condos here have shared garage areas, some outside parking areas, and some both.

I'm assuming that we're talking about assigned parking spaces. The only solution I can see is for your neighbor to give the parking space to you. The agreement would have to be between you, your neighbor and the HOA. In the absence of assigned parking, there's nothing you can do. We have the same type of parking situation but the spots are not assigned. Residents take the same spaces in front of their units and we don't encroach. We do have parking stickers. There's a designated parking area for visitors.

The trauma of seeing other cars must make life difficult. (sarcasm)

Life is too short to be irritated. Time to move.
