A SNOWY View of the BAY and a Mockingbird Resting on a Snowy Branch!

Thought you all might enjoy seeing a few pictures of the recent snowfall here in New Jersey.  One picture is of the bay, close to my house.  The other is of a mockingbird resting on a snowy branch.  A friend of mine took these pictures early in the morning on his usual morning walk.  428382563_7317763131579564_1946196507026815070_n.jpg428382563_7317763131579564_1946196507026815070_n.jpg

Wow @ciao_bella ...as a native Floridian who has never experienced anything like that ( yesterday it got up to 82 degrees ugh)... the photos  are fascinating, beautiful, has me wishing it was at least cool out. Thank you!

@ciao_bella  Those are breathtaking photos that represent the beauty and pleasure for me of what some may call harsh winter weather.  Let It SNOW!

@ciao_bella  It is beautiful but I'm glad it's there and not here. I've lived in the midwest all my life and I still very much dislike snow.

Beautiful photos!

I'm probably about 1-2 hours away from you in Bucks Co., PA. Yesterday we went out to an early dinner and on the way home the sun was just starting to set.  DS drove and we took the scenic route home.

It was so pretty seeing the bucolic countryside covered in snow (the roads are all clear) going through the winding roads and homes spaced far apart with acres of land.  Some are small farms.  Most trees still have snow on their branches.

I should have taken some photos!

I love birds so I love the picture! I missed our cardinals on snow covered tree branches this winter. We have had very little snow here in Indiana this winter.

@Starpolisher  You have a very keen eye!  Yes, it's the Raritan Bay!  And, you're right about it looking so different in a few months.

@ciao_bella     Beautiful pictures!  Both are equally stunning, but the one with bird is just magical.  I wouldn't have been able to spot him in that tree lol.

Thanks so much for sharing.😊💝💕
