@Goodie2shoes, I live in Springfield, MO! Like you, we reached 76 yesterday. I power walked for 50 minutes in local neighborhoods, as I knew the trails and Nature Center where I like to walk would be packed. And like you...rain and gloom for Wednesday and Thursday. Cloudy today with a high of 49, but I am going to walk later today.

I'm north of you about 6-7 hours and we broke a record with 51 degrees
Sadly, it's -8 wind chill this morning. Winter is back.
I can hardly wait for April. At least then, snow storms melt fast.

After a couple weeks of VERY cold weather (highs in the 30's-40's, lows in the teens-20's, snow twice in two weeks), we're having warmer than normal temps this week (mid/high 70's, lows in th 50's).
My azaleas have bloomed twice since Hurricane Helene hit us in late September, the last time they froze! Azaleas don't normally bloom around here at all until late March at the earliest. The poor things are so confused, lol!
I'm in South Carolina.

Here in MA after several days of single digits, we climbed to 40 yesterday!
It felt like spring - everyone emerged from their cocoons, anxious to soak in the sun!!

In SoCal this past weekend we had nice warm weather in the 70's, now we're bracing for an atmospheric pressure storm to hit late this afternoon through Fri, they're calling this storm the Pineapple Express, local meterologist predicting that the month of Feb will be a wet one, we do need the rain. It's good that the rains will help wash away some of the toxic waste on the ground from the recent fires we had.

I think we may have hit 40 yesterday here in CT.

It is currently 35 degrees and cloudy, but it has been snowing intermittently for three days with more on the way!😊 I am LOVING❤️ it as this is the first heavy snow we have had this winter in my neck of the PNW with more on the way! YAY!😁
~~~All we need is LOVE💖
