Father Dies After Dancing with His Daughter at Her Wedding

 

YORK CO., S.C. (WSPA) – Detective Tim Buchanan passed away suddenly during his daughter’s wedding in Costa Rica on Saturday.

 

Buchanan suffered a heart attack after the father-daughter dance, and unfortunately, did not survive.

 

The South Carolina Sheriffs’ Association shared a post about Buchanan on their Facebook page.

This young woman will remember one of the most special days of her life in a way I'm sure she would never have dreamed of.  The loss of her father right after the Father/Daughter dance.  So sad.

A day that was to be "One of the Happiest Days"...

Had become ..."One of the Saddest Days"...
