I do see your valid point, @sandy53 , about the book club, but to me, the delight of being able to find, even though time-pressed, just the right thing in a library, strictly based on the never-fail competence of an author, was kind of a 'universal' thing.  One that perhaps a cross-section of people might appreciate.  I know my ears perk up whenever something even a wee bit unexpected shows up in the Community Chat forum...
