I am definitely a B. 

A represents a salute, to me.

My mother always used B.

When counting on her fingers she always used her pinky finger to represent 'one', or 'first'.

I use either B or thumb/index/middle combo.

I find A physically very uncomfortable.

I do A. I will add that I have rather un-limber fingers, it's kind of awkward to do.  I can't do the Vulcan sign either-

Me, either.   Still don't understand why people do this on a regular basis ....  however they do it.
