Re: A New Millenial Expression (?)

Never heard of this one.  I am still trying to understand the meaning of "your bad" or "my bad."  See I am so far out of it I do not even know how to say an expression the correct way.  I do remember and know Groovy.

@beckyb1012... “My bad” just implies “my mistake.” Often used as an apology, instead of “I'm sorry.”

“Your bad” puts the blame on the other person.

Thank you @WaJa61 that makes more sense. I remember years ago my boss had to explain to me what "hooking up" mean't.  I did not know I was using it wrong.Smiley LOL

Like you 1961 was a great year to be born!!

Hey, so cool to know we were born in the same year, @beckyb1012 😎

Don't feel bad... My youngest son keeps me in a near state of confusion with the slang. One of his favorites right now is, “Ooh, savage burn.” Said jokingly in reply to snark, implying embarrassment, I think. Where we might have said, “that's just cold.”

Understand completely.  My only son earlier this summer had to tell me I was saying Pinterest wrong.   He is 35 and asked if I minded his telling me.  I said absolutely not I do not want to sound like and out of date fool.  Do not mind aging but I prefer to be current with it all.

Here's another one: "No worries."

Said in response to anything from "I'm sorry" to "I have to be a little late," and others I can't think of right now. It seems to be replacing "That's OK."

Millennials need a minimum income of $81k in order to be happy and a decent quality of life. This was reported by Pews today. LOL! I wonder if that is in their head?

This is a very common Australian phrase, which seems to have become popular here. I use it sometimes.
