A New Meaning To Physical Education?

My grandson lives in western Maryland. They are doing virtual learning at his middle school. So, they have to report their Phys Ed accomplishments each week. This is what he reported a few weeks ago:

Was he using his imagination, @PA Mom-mom ?

@tansy  No, he actually did that. He lives on a farm.

And he's showing agility, speed, and power at the very least.  I like it!

Why did I cross my legs when I read this?

I bet the calf got more exercise than the boy.  Riding a scooter?  Not so much.

I thought the calves were restrained in a small stall where they can't move before they get cut so not much work to be done there. It's not like they have to be roped and wrestled first like you see in a rodeo.

@SilleeMee  These are free range grass fed animals. The calves are born in the field and stay with their moms; and they are allowed to roam the pasture as soon as they are born.

@PA Mom-mom

He probably did have to work hard to get that job done!  I know I could never do it. I can't even lift my dog up on my bed...lol!

Re: A New Meaning To Physical Education?

@SilleeMee  I like the "idea" of a farm, but I have trepidations about the "nuts and bolts" of a farm ( pun sort of intended). My grandchildren are so brave and capable. They can kill and butcher chickens and turkeys, and they harvest deer for their family.  They even know how to butcher and cook the deer!
