I needed some stainless steel clips, looked on the Walmart website and found a third party vendor with free delivery and a OK price ($5 for 20 clips). Not a purchase I'd spend time researching. Sold.

They shipped the same day USPS. This morning I got the tracker.

The clips were shipped from Hong Kong, California 92012.

Hey, do I know every town in California? 92012 is Del Mar, near San Diego. Is this a case of a really homesick vendor? Their customer service number is in area code 302 -- Delaware.

Any other possible explanation?

@PickyPicky3 does Walmart screen its  vendors carefully?

@millieshops  I don't know, but Walmart takes responsibility for any vendor on its website. I'm not worried, but it is a bit strange.

My clips passed through Las Vegas already.

@PickyPicky3   Because your order is already moving, I assume you'll be fine.  But -  thanks for responding.  I have used Walmart's website for their own products with good results.  Glad to know they might well be screening the vendors they have begun to give webspace to.

@millieshops   I learned today if you click on Return Policy on a third party vendor's item page, it tells you if you can return it to any Walmart store. A nice feature.
