He's very clean.

That movie set was where George met his first wife, Pattie Boyd.

Thanks, adelle. I've watched it so many times, I used to be able to recite a lot of the scenes, like the opening scene: "Pardon me for asking, but who's that little old man?" "What little old man?" "That little old man." "Oh, that one. That's my grandfather." "Ye grandfather? That's not your grandfather." "It is, you know." "But I've seen your grandfather. He lives in your house." "That's my other grandfather, but he's my grandfather as well." "How do you reckon that one out?" "Everyone's entitled to two, aren't they? Well, that's my other one."

Classic. {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

I haven't seen it in a while, so I think I'll tune in!

My aunt took my cousin and I to see this movie at the drive in so we could scream and act goofy as much as we wanted. We were so excited. We actually thought we were going to marry one of them when we grew up. We even tried to imitate a British accent. I believe we thought it would further our chances for a good marriage.

Exactly. Although some stories have her saying she left George because of his cheating.

But, most stories say that she and Eric's affair finally ended the marriage.

George was smitten with her at first glance. During the scene they are playing cards and singing in the boxcar, you can see George staring in her direction and giving her "the eye." lol

Patti Boyd did leave George because of his cheating, but then she had an extremely rocky (to put it mildly) relationship with Eric and left him because of his drug addiction.

I remember staying at the movies all day the day this movie opened at our theater. Loved the music but thought the movie was boring.
