Although I believe that the OP is true, one of the reasons I come on here is to vent or ask for advice whenever I'm frustrated about something in my personal life. I know I'm setting myself up for hurt feelings when I do this, but in all honesty, I feel like I'm receiving true, unbiased opinions and probably very good advice.

I don't know... if you ask things, people are going to tell you.

I asked a question this past week, about a program on cnn, I got some very mean comments, from some, they must be really un happy people that did this.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

If they were mean to you personally or dismissed your opinion as invalid or worse, I agree that is uncalled for. I'll admit it bothers me when I read that sort of thing directed at anyone here.

If they were mean about the topic of the CNN program, that's a little different because it falls under opinion whereas the other is personal and, well, just mean.
