@Kachina624 Absolutely stunning photo! Thank you so much for sharing the photo and the information. I was privileged to see the youngsters while visiting Alaska and they were enormous. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see a mature, white head amongst the juveniles but I was thrilled to view the younger ones!

That is a lot of eagles! I am not greedy. I would be happy to see just one flying in the wild.

@On It.  They've been seen in the Bosque along the Rio Grande right in the middle of Albuquerque.

I saw one perched atop a dead tree in Colorado near Gunnison.  When I was in Alaska, there seemed to be one in every tree.

They seem to be everywhere these days.

I see them here in central Florida all the time - either in a tree or flying overhead.  Very cool!

What a beautiful picture. My son lives near a lake in the Upper Hudson Valley of N.Y. and sees eagles all the time. When we visit his home we almost always see at least one eagle flying over his land. They are magnificent.Thank you @Kachina624 for posting.

@On It.  As much as you and dh enjoy wildlife, you ought consider a trip to Alasks with a side excursion to Denali National Park.   You'd be in seventh Heaven and have enough Photos to keep us entertained for months.

There are cruises on smaller ships that specialize in nature excursions without all the big cruise line whoopla.  You don't have to mingle unless you wish but there are likely to be like-minded people.

I've done 2 Alaskan cruises, one big ship and one small.  Both highlights of my life.
