A FUNNY, AT LEAST I THINK SO!

Saw this on a FB page:

A zen Buddhist says to the hot dog vendor: Make me one with everything.

Cute, but I don't think Buddhists eat meat.

@Lucky Charm I did a net search and you are mistaken, sorry. Many do and are allowed to eat meat. It's interesting if you look it up.

Maybe it was a tofu hotdog.

The Sky looks different when you have someone you love up there.

@Love my grandkids   Love this....

@Lucky Charm Yes, I was going to respond to the meat-eating Buddhists situation....years ago when I discovered this it was difficult to understand.  Now I realize everyone has to make this decision for themselves and I don't let other's choices destroy my "zen".

Just for fun and if interested here are my Tofu dogs.....my husband loves them...it's not the dog (a nonevent) but the fixings that make this dog!.

This is his favorite:

boil Lightlife (TJ's) dog with sauerkraut

toast Dave's bread

spread the toast with Vegenaise

place a piece of cheddar cheese (vegan/plant based...Trader Joe's has a good cashew based one at a good price) on the toast

drain the sauerkraut & dog...  place the hot sauerkraut then the dog on top of the cheese

top with chopped onion

(sometimes I vary with bean chili/plant cheese/chopped onion instead of the sauerkraut)

This is one of his favorite meals...usually serve with corn on the cob and baked beans (if interested ask me how I quickly turn canned beans into great beans!) or home-made potato salad.  We eat primarily whole foods and this is a treat for him when ever the mood for picnic food calls.

Easy to make...and you might enjoy it!  I'll bet those Buddhists would be delighted!

OMG I actually got it on the 2nd reading. Normally I'm slow with stuff like this.

I'm usually good at this but for some reason I'm lost.

Read it yesterday, today maybe tomorrow I'll get it. I'll blame it on the rain.

Maybe someone can explain it lol
