Re: A Change At Pesky Neighbors.

@Biftu  I was a city girl too.  Not NY, Philly etc. big but everything within 10 minute or less drive.

It was culture shock when I moved here at 18 and 1/2.  No sidewalks, a whole lot of dirt roads, all kids rode a school bus (I walked), Drs.  & hospitals were all miles away, so were pharmacies, movie theatres (only showed movies weekends), all local newspapers were weekly.

Looking out a door and seeing cows looking back, getting milk from the bulk tank at neighbors farm etc.  You get the idea.

@Skyegirl21  I'm in NE PA.

You aren't supposed to let dogs run but no one enforces it.

At one time or another all farmers have probably had cows get out. The difference is 99% of farmers go right away and get them and fix the fence even in the iddle of the night. This guy is just lazy.

I guess you can target shoot on your own land.  I don't care if he does, just not at 11 at night.

We could probably all compete for who has the most obnoxious neighbors. One of ours has decided to workout every morning at 4 a.m, in his garage, that backs up to our bedroom, He has a speaker that pulses and vibrates to the point our walls almost shake. I sleep through most of it but DH has started to go over there a couple of times but I have managed to keep him back. I am sure the guy is locked and loaded so we need to be careful. And, the guy is a cop!

If he's married, he probably has to do his workout in the garage so he doesn't wake his wife up. A little ironic that now he wakes both of you up. Maybe he just doesn't realize your bedroom is on the other side.

You could let him know by making loud sounds over on your side, before he starts his workout. (Up to you what kind of sounds you'd make. I know what kind I'd make, but I'm a nut. Woman Wink) Then he'd at least know he can be heard on the other side of the wall.

When you’re accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression.

Re: A Change At Pesky Neighbors.

One can have "pesky neighbors" even in the city. Our neighbor who lives behind us..I could tell you stories but no one would believe them.
