Hallmark will be showing A Biltmore Christmas movie on Sunday 11/26 8pm EST.

I remember when @ECBG posted about the filming of the movie.

When we visited Biltmore it was mid Oct years ago,  and the staff was bringing out all the holiday decor getting ready to start the decorating process, so we missed most of it.

The first time we visited we were there when they opened and you parked in the driveway.  We got a casset taped tour for each of us, complete with headphones.

We toured the house at our leisure and even when we left it wasn't crowded yet.  We were fortunate to tour a number over the years, one night tour with snow during December!

I'm assuming some of the movie was actually filmed there. Usually those Hallmark movies are filmed on a Canadian soundstage. Definitely plan to watch.

I've been waiting for this one! The Thanksgiving weekend has all the best holiday movies. The Biltmore one looks great!

I just checked IMDb and it says that the movie was filmed in Asheville and Henderson,NC.
The only time I sort of saw the Biltmore was 30+ years ago when my husband who doesn’t like to sightsee whizzed past it en route to a different state. I have watched a documentary on the history of Biltmore, so I’ll check out the movie since I like both actors.

My tree will be up and decorated and the fireplace will be turned on. Just need to decide on snacks and beverages.
