Re: A BLAST FROM THE PAST

[ Edited ]

I would not have snitched on the woman bathing in the Library, and probably would have given her some $$$$ for a meal. ♥

Oh! My! Goodness! I remember those gross things too. I have been known to use clean seat covers to dry my hands because I won't use the blowers. I have even dried my hands on my own clothing in the dead of winter. And don't even get me started on touching the doorknob with my bare hand, lol! However, in my defense, I have an autoimmune disease so I must be very careful.

You pulled it down to a clean dry spot and if it had run out you used it anyway.  Most likely peoples hands were clean when they dried them, and it would have been impossible to anyone to have been able to wipe their bottom on.  Like the other poster I never had dirty towel disease.

@Imaoldhippie Of course one's bottom wouldn't reach but that doesn't mean all hands were washed properly either. 🤮

Last time I went to my local library a lady was taking a bath in the sink in the ladies room (water all over floor and paper towels everywhere). I walked in turned around and walked out. DH said what's wrong? I said "you don't wanna know". I told the staff when I checked out books but they didn't care.

@silkyk Common among those living on the streets.  It is a sad situation and I would not have reported her.  Stop and think how she may have felt being seen trying to clean herself.
